Choose your platform to start the fully functional 14-day trial.

Install on Windows

1. Download the signed Windows installer.
2. Close your DAW before running the installer.
3. Run the .exe installer and complete the installation steps.
4. Reopen the DAW and scan for new VST3 plugins if MetalGuitarEQ does not appear automatically.
5. Add MetalGuitarEQ after your amp and cab or IR processing.

The Windows publisher check should identify Pineware Oy. Do not continue if the installer shows an unexpected publisher.

Install on macOS

1. Download the MetalGuitarEQ installer for macOS.
2. Close your DAW before opening the installer.
3. Open the installer and complete the installation steps.
4. Reopen the DAW and scan for new VST3 plugins if MetalGuitarEQ does not appear automatically.
5. Add MetalGuitarEQ after your amp and cab or IR processing.

The Universal 2 build runs natively on Intel x86_64 and Apple Silicon arm64 Macs. It requires macOS 10.13 or later on Intel and macOS 11 or later on Apple Silicon. The installer is signed by Pineware Oy, Apple-notarized, and accepted by Gatekeeper.

The 14-Day Trial

The trial uses the same platform-specific installer as the licensed product and provides the complete MetalGuitarEQ processing workflow for 14 days. After the trial expires, the plugin stops applying processing until a valid license is activated. It does not intentionally mute your source audio.

Activate Your License

1. Open the license email from Lemon Squeezy.
2. Copy the license key.
3. Open MetalGuitarEQ in your DAW.
4. Open the activation interface.
5. Paste the license key and confirm activation.

Internet access is required during activation. Normal plugin use works offline after activation succeeds.

If the License Email Has Not Arrived

Check spam, junk, and promotions folders for the email address used at checkout. Search for messages from Lemon Squeezy and confirm the order completed successfully. If the license is still missing, contact us with the order number and purchase email address. Never send payment-card details.

Device Activations

One MetalGuitarEQ license includes 3 activations for up to 3 devices. If a device has been replaced or an activation cannot be recovered, contact support with the purchase email address and order number.

Email contact@splinteraudio.com with your operating-system version, DAW name and version, a short description of the problem, and any error message. Do not include payment-card details or your full license key.
